Texas Propane Gas Association establishes Harvey relief fund

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, the Texas Propane Gas Association (TPGA) has set up the TXPGA Disaster Relief Fund, which will offset the cost of affected qualifying propane equipment at existing residential customers’ homes.

According to Bill Van Hoy, executive director of TPGA, the customer base in some affected areas has been wiped out and the mission of the fund is to help return propane customers’ service by providing relief to them. TPGA will manage the funds with oversight from the board of directors.
