November 6, 2014 By

AlkaneAlkane Truck Co.’s Class 7 cab-over truck platform is engineered to run on propane autogas. The truck is available in two models – the 33,000-pound P-33 and the 26,000-pound P-26 – and features a 6.8-liter Ford Triton V-10 engine that was modified to run on gaseous fuel. The fuel system is direct-injection, liquid-propane technology from Bi-Phase Technologies LLC. According to Alkane, the P-33 and P-26 are both Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board certified for use on highways.
