Hopatcong Gas Services, a propane retailer based in Hopatcong, N.J., merged with Combined Energy Services, a regional supplier of propane and fuel oil.

Hopatcong Gas supplies propane to several New Jersey cities, including Byram, Jefferson, Netcong, Roxbury, Stanhope and Mount Arlington.

“We’ve known Combined Energy Services for a long time and knew they would take care of our customers properly,” says Sherri Sutphen Norlander, Hopatcong Gas manager.

Combined Energy Services serves customers in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania from its four locations. The company says it plans to bring additional services to the customers of Hopatcong Gas, including automatic bulk deliveries, cylinder deliveries, expanded service capabilities and installation of gas burning appliances, heating systems and fuel oil conversions.

“Hopatcong Gas is a perfect fit with Combined Energy Services, as we’re gaining new customers all over northern New Jersey every day,” says Mike Taylor, Combined Energy Services owner, in a statement on the company’s website. “We’re on target to get our new office and showroom, along with a full-service distribution center open shortly to better service our growing customer base.”
