Unique transport trailer supporting Wounded Warrior Project

April 29, 2014 By

Grammer Industries, an Indiana-based carrier of propane and other materials, unveiled a Wounded Warrior Project-themed transport trailer. Grammer’s goal is to raise funds for U.S. service personnel who have been injured in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The company unveiled the truck at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., kicking off a yearlong initiative in which Grammer hopes to raise $250,000 to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and the Share Military Initiative at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. Both programs provide support and education to critically injured U.S. service members.

“We set out on this endeavor because we were inspired by the life-changing impact and rehabilitation support that has been provided to one of Grammer Industries’ own,” says Charles Whittington, Grammer’s founder and CEO, in a press release.
