Westmor promotes technician to Southwest territory manager
Westmor Industries promoted Colton Hayes as territory manager for its Southwest sales region.
In his new role, Hayes will serve the propane and petroleum industries, providing bobtail, refined fuel truck and crane service truck expertise to customers.
Having graduated from Tulsa Welding School, Hayes brings an understanding of manufacturing and truck and trailer maintenance to his role, complemented by his 10 years of experience as a service technician with Westmor, according to the company. This hands-on experience has allowed him to relate to customers, fostering a better understanding of their unique requirements, the company adds.
“We’re excited about Colton’s abilities,” says Jason Soulon, sales manager for the Southwest. “Because he’s spent time in multiple areas within Westmor, his knowledge of our product combined with his new sales role allows him to connect with our customers in a way that most people can’t. His insight and understanding of our products make it easy for customers to do business with him.”
Hayes resides with his family near Westmor’s Shawnee, Kansas, location.
Headquartered in Morris, Minnesota, with satellite locations throughout the United States, Westmor is a privately owned company with more than 500 employees. The 51-year-old company supplies its customers with product offerings used to store, transport and dispense petroleum, propane and other liquids and gases. In addition, Westmor provides customers with aftermarket support, including parts sales, product repair, infrastructure installation and in-field services.
