In October, the executive committee appointed current board member Dianne Dallmann to serve as WPGA treasurer. Dallmann is the director of propane at Allied Cooperative and brings 23 years of industry experience to the leadership team.

“My No. 1 goal is to see the state assessment bill pass this year,” Poehls said during his first WPGA meeting as president. “To do that, every member needs to be proactive and engaged and should utilize the WPGA as a resource so that we can work together and accomplish this for our industry.”

Strengthening the WPGA’s relationship with state regulatory agencies and increasing member involvement are among Poehls’ association efforts.

Outgoing president Roger Boehlke was recognized for his service and presented with a wooden replica bobtail as a token of the WPGA’s appreciation.

“I’m so thankful for Roger’s service to the industry. He accomplished a lot during his time as president and has been instrumental in helping transition in the new leadership,” says Emma Corning, WPGA executive director. “We’re very excited and confident with the new executive team. They’re all passionate, result-driven individuals and there is no doubt that we’ll see many positive outcomes over the next few years.”
