Young Gassers set for 2024 reception in Charlotte

The International Association of Young Gassers organization will hold its 36th annual reception during the 2024 Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo on April 5 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The reception will be held from 7-10 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium.

Entry to the event, open to everyone, is free with a paid membership to the organization. Costs are $45 in advance of the reception and $55 at the door. The reception will feature an open bar and light hors d’oeuvres.

The Young Gassers says it’s gearing up for the propane industry’s largest trade show, hosted by the National Propane Gas Association, but it’s also in the process of a major “reboot.” Young Gassers is planning several announcements during the reception.

Membership in Young Gassers is open to industry professionals of all ages. The mission of the 65-year-old organization is to “foster and sustain personal and professional relationships among all members of the propane gas industry.” The organization, which is led by Nick Virchow of Anova, is supported through contributions from individuals and corporate sponsors. It is committed to making annual scholarships available and supporting the National Museum of Industrial History and its propane exhibit.
