YSN Imports recalls propane cylinders

YSN Imports has voluntarily recalled about 25,000 1-pound refillable propane cylinders due to risk of fire and explosion hazards.

This recall involves Flame King, Little Kamper and U-Haul refillable propane cylinders used with outdoor appliances. According to the company, consumers should immediately stop using the cylinders and contact YSN Imports for a full refund or a replacement cylinder.

The cylinders in question were sold at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Kamps, Propane Depot, U-Haul, Amazon.com and other stores and websites from November 2013 through September 2016. No injuries have been reported thus far, but the firm has received two reports of the connecting valve starting to unscrew from the cylinder, YSN Imports says.
