Bergquist boosts telemetry sales team
Bergquist, a wholesale distributor of propane equipment and solutions, hired Steve Spaman as a telemetry salesperson.

Since entering the industry in 2009 as a delivery and service supervisor, Spaman has built a reputation for operational excellence, Bergquist says. Most recently, as propane division manager for Keystone Cooperative, he spearheaded the integration of smart meter technology to revolutionize route density and customer satisfaction.
Joining Bergquist, Spaman says, feels like a natural evolution of his career-long commitment to making the propane industry more efficient and data-driven.
“Having spent years in the field and in management, I’ve seen firsthand how the right telemetry solutions can transform a business from the ground up,” he says. “I am eager to help our partners navigate the digital landscape, turning complex data into actionable strategies that drive growth and enhance customer service.”
In his new role at Bergquist, Spaman will focus on expanding the company’s telemetry solutions, helping customers leverage data to optimize delivery routes and improve overall efficiency. His understanding of the challenges faced by propane marketers makes him a vital addition to the Bergquist team, the company adds.
“At Bergquist, our goal is to surround our customers with experts who have walked in their shoes,” says Joe Montroy, vice president of sales at Bergquist. “Steve is the personification of that goal. His deep technical knowledge of telemetry, combined with his high-level management experience, allows him to provide our customers with a vision for the future. He understands that in today’s market, efficiency isn’t just a goal – it’s a necessity for survival. We couldn’t be happier to have his leadership on our team.”
