The new TRIARC Tank MC331 semi-trailer offers a solution for LPG distributors that prioritizes both regulatory compliance and return on investment.

TRIARC Tank’s design achieves an optimized tare weight of 22,300 pounds while maintaining a gross vehicle weight rating of 66,000 pounds. This allows fleets to transport up to 11,600 nominal water gallons, reducing total transport cycles and minimizing general fleet wear and tear.

The MC331’s structural integrity is built on SA517B quenched and tempered steel (115,000 psi minimum yield), a high-tensile material that allows thinner, stronger vessel walls rated for 250 psi operating pressure and hydrostatic testing up to 500 psi, according to the company.

TRIARC Tank says every unit is designed to meet or exceed the industry’s strictest compliance standards. It also integrates components from top U.S. suppliers, the company adds, ensuring maintenance is simple, fast and accessible, including:

  • High-speed pumping: Equipped with a Blackmer TLGLF-4 hydraulic pump and air-operated Marshall Excelsior internal valves.
  • Running gear: Ridewell 23,000-pound suspension, 49-in. axle spacing, Alcoa aluminum wheels and Goodyear 11R22.5 tires.
  • Active safety: Wabco ABS system, brake interlocks and recessed relief valves to minimize risks in the event of a rollover.

The steel and components of the MC331 are certified to operate in a thermal range of minus 20 degrees F to 125 degrees F, ensuring that fleets stay on the road even during extreme weather conditions.

To protect against road salt and humidity, every unit comes with a heavy-duty paint system and stainless-steel fasteners, backed by a three-year limited warranty.

TRIARC Tank says it also offers tailored engineering based on a fleet’s specific tractor data.
