Mopeka launches GaugeLink platform to modernize tank monitoring

Mopeka Products (Mopeka), a global provider of tank monitoring and cathodic protection monitoring solutions, has launched Mopeka GaugeLink – BLE and Cellular, a platform designed to convert mechanical tank gauges into connected monitoring systems.

The company says the platform allows operators, distributors and asset managers to remotely monitor tank levels and system health using Bluetooth or cellular connectivity. Data is accessible through the Mopeka Dashboard and MopekaIoT Co-Pilot app.

GaugeLink attaches directly to existing mechanical gauges without requiring tank modifications. The system is fully wireless and does not require read-ready gauges.

Key features

GaugeLink is designed to work with standard Jr. and Sr. mechanical gauges, enabling users to upgrade existing tanks without replacing equipment.

The platform supports both Bluetooth for local monitoring and cellular connectivity for remote access, allowing flexibility based on operational needs.

When paired with the Mopeka Cellular Gateway, users can monitor tank levels, system status and connectivity data remotely through a cloud-based interface.

The platform provides system data, including tank level percentage, volume, battery status, connectivity strength and firmware information in a single dashboard.

Mopeka says the GaugeLink BLE sensor offers up to 10 years of battery life. The cellular gateway includes replaceable batteries for extended use.

The system is intended for remote tanks, seasonal installations, fleet monitoring and unattended locations, reducing the need for manual inspections.

The launch expands Mopeka’s portfolio of monitoring technologies aimed at improving operational visibility and asset management across propane, fuel, water, chemical and industrial storage sectors.
