Angus Energy hires account executive
Nicolas Pintabona joined Angus Energy as an account executive, hedging.

In this role, Pintabona will focus on leveraging hedging opportunities for Angus Energy’s current client list and expanding the company’s footprint in the Northeast.
“We are thrilled to have Nick join the Angus Team,” says Mark Bloom, partner and chief marketing and sales officer at Angus Energy. “We have expanded our services over the past 15 years to include business intelligence (BRITE), delivery efficiency/profitability (GREMLIN and ADEPT) and financial services (Angus Finance). Since Phil [Baratz] first started Angus in 1991, we have always given our clients comprehensive hedging services. Adding Nick will help us provide hedging advice our clients expect from us.”
Pintabona earned his Bachelor of Science in finance and accounting from Flagler College. While attending college, he was a credit analyst for Veterans Capital Corp. In that position, he reviewed several types of financial data, identified potential risks and made recommendations regarding lines of credit and capital.

For more than 30 years, Angus Energy has served companies in the propane and heating oil industries, providing solutions that impact clients’ bottom-line performance. Its hedging group offers price protection on heating oil, diesel fuel, kerosene, propane, gasoline, heavy oils and natural gas. It also manages volumetric risk with weather hedges for distributors and end users.
