Bergquist names Midwest sales representative

Wholesale propane equipment distributor Bergquist hired Joe Stearns as a Midwest sales representative.

In his new role with Bergquist, Stearns will be responsible for telemetry sales and support, specifically focusing on Bergquist’s tank monitor and smart meter products, catering to key propane marketer accounts in the Midwest.

“Our sales team brings decades of experience and incredible knowledge across the wholesale propane equipment industry, and adding Joe will only bolster our presence across the critical Midwest region,” says Joe Montroy, vice president of sales at Bergquist. “We are excited to welcome Joe to our team, as he will be vital in providing our Midwest customers with the exceptional service they’ve come to expect from Bergquist.”

Stearns earned his Bachelor of Arts in communications from Bowling Green University in 2021. He began his career in EdTech sales in Austin, Texas, helping startups and existing organizations build their sales teams and sales culture. Prior to this, Stearns gained customer service experience in the hospitality industry.

“Bergquist has a sterling reputation in the propane industry, so I am eager to join its exceptional team of experts,” Stearns says. “This role presents an exciting opportunity for me to ensure we’re meeting customer demand and support the company’s ongoing growth in the Midwest.”

Bergquist operates as a family-owned entity, providing wholesale propane equipment and appliances to companies across the U.S. and worldwide. Bergquist’s staff is dispersed throughout five national sales and distribution centers.
