Blossman Gas finalizes three propane company acquisitions
Blossman Gas acquired three propane companies: Coastal Gas Services in Outer Banks, North Carolina; Dolphin Gas in Miami; and Ford’s Propane in North Myrtle Beach and Loris, South Carolina, and Bolivia, North Carolina.
Coastal Gas Services was founded in 1994; Dolphin Gas opened in 1958; and Ford’s Propane has been doing business since 1923.
Blossman Gas will retain employees from each of these 2021 acquisitions.
“Between adding Coastal Gas Services, Ford’s Propane and Dolphin Gas, we have added over 19,000 customers,” David Reynolds, COO for Blossman Gas, says. “These three companies fit well into Blossman’s business model of being a full-service solution for our customers.”
The three companies were previously family-owned.
“This aligns with our strategy of expanding into the Coastal Carolina region and building our operation in South Florida,” James Harris, regional vice president for Blossman Gas, says.
Dolphin Gas will be rolled into the current Blossman Gas location in Margate, Florida. Customers of all three companies will continue to receive uninterrupted service, says Blossman Gas.
Blossman Gas, based in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, has served customers across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic for more than 70 years. The company delivers propane and propane appliances to more than 170,000 customers in 16 states.
