At the company, Allshouse will optimize EDP’s product purchasing and transportation assets and work with its field management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in sourcing and transporting products.

Allshouse previously worked at Crestwood Midstream Partners as vice president of transportation. In his 27 years of experience at Crestwood, he also held roles as director of field operations and director of customer service.

“Eric is an excellent addition to our team,” Chris Daly, EDP’s senior vice president of operations, says. “We are confident he will play a valuable role in ensuring our operations always have the product they need to take exceptional care of our customers.”

Allshouse graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree.

“I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to join EDP,” Allshouse says. “It has already been a wonderful experience getting to know the amazing people and seeing the great teamwork everyone puts in to make this the premier energy company in retail propane.”

EDP provides propane service to residential and commercial customers in 23 states and ranks ninth in LP Gas’ 2024 Top Propane Retailers ranking for highest gallon sales. The company says it is actively seeking to expand its national footprint and diversify through the addition of new retail propane and light fuels operations. Since its inception in 2012, the company has completed 39 acquisitions, including its most recent purchase, Queen City Propane, based in Cincinnati.
