EDP names central region vice president
Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) has hired Chris Daly as a new region vice president for the central U.S.
In the position, Daly will be responsible for leading the operations management team to achieve safety, service, quality and operational goals, according to EDP.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in the propane, heating oil and HVAC industries.
Daly has served in a variety of senior level positions where he managed retail operations, sales, safety, service quality, customer retention and profitability.
A Massachusetts native, Daly earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Bridgewater State University. He later earned his master’s in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.
Daly joins two other recently appointed region vice presidents, as well as a new operational analyst. EDP hired Jay Werner and Bill Cummings to serve as vice presidents of the company’s Western and Northeast regions, respectively. Laura Hawkinson serves as the operational analyst.
EDP, based in Chicago, offers propane to more than 160,000 residential and commercial customers. The company has a presence in both rural America and major metropolitan areas throughout 11 states. It ranks No. 10 among U.S. propane marketers for sales of retail gallons, according to LP Gas’ 2021 Top Propane Retailers listing.
