Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) acquired California-based Fallbrook Propane Gas Co.

The acquisition, EDP says, makes the company one of California’s largest propane service providers. Fallbrook Propane Gas Co., founded in 1986 by Merrill and Deborah Everett, operates in and around Fallbrook, California.

“We have enjoyed the opportunity to help our parents build Fallbrook Propane into a successful family business,” says Chris Everett and Meredith Everett-Gordon, Fallbrook Propane co-managers, in a joint statement. “Given Energy Distribution Partners’ reputation as a quality operator, we have chosen EDP to help us transition the business into a new era of growth and expansion. We look forward to working together with the EDP team to carry on Fallbrook Propane’s legacy of taking good care of our employees, providing exceptional service to our customers and staying involved with the local community.”

Fallbrook Propane Gas Co. was originally North County Welding Supply Inc. before the business expanded to include propane. The company now services over 8,000 residential, commercial and agricultural customers in San Diego County and the southeastern portion of Riverside County.

“The Everett family has run a very successful propane business and built an outstanding reputation in the communities they have served for over 30 years,” says Tom Knauff, CEO of EDP. “We are extremely pleased to help the family transition to a new chapter in their lives, and we look forward to working with Chris, Meredith and all of the fine employees at Fallbrook Propane to carry on the company’s legacy.”
