EDP names two regional VPs
Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) hired a new regional vice president for the eastern U.S. and promoted a northwestern regional vice president.
Bill Wiest, the new regional vice president for the eastern U.S., will be responsible for leading the region’s operations management team. He brings more than 28 years of experience in the petroleum, liquid gas and logistics industries.
Wiest is currently pursuing a doctoral of business with Trident University International. He previously served for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, specifically within the fuels and logistics sectors, taking part in various leadership roles during his tenure.
EDP promoted Ben Heerema to northwest region vice president. He will be responsible for leading the operations management team in the Northwest.
Heerema has more than 12 years of propane industry experience and, collectively, 27 years of multi-unit management experience with an emphasis on logistics, distribution, P&L management, safety, operations and leadership. He is a graduate of California State University, Chico.
EDP, based in Chicago, offers propane to more than 160,000 residential and commercial customers. The company has a presence in both rural America and major metropolitan areas throughout 11 states. It ranks No. 10 among U.S. propane marketers for sales of retail gallons, according to LP Gas’ 2021 Top Propane Retailers listing.
