Phillips Energy’s annual “Longest Day” fundraiser raised about $4,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association. On June 20, the longest day of the year and the annual day of awareness across the country for the Alzheimer’s Association, Phillips Energy dedicated a portion of its sales at the Gloucester Point, Virginia, retail fuel station to the cause, sold raffle tickets for a basket filled with gift certificates to local businesses and partnered with Waypoint Seafood & Grill to sell grill-out packages for Father’s Day weekend, summer corn and crab chowder, and other appetizers.
