Ferrellgas acquires Motor Propane Service

Ferrellgas Partners LP has acquired Motor Propane Service, an independent propane company with locations in Manitowoc and Sheboygan, Wis., the national retailer announced. It is Ferrellgas’ second acquisition in its fiscal year that began Aug. 1, joining the company’s November purchase of KanGas Corp. Specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ferrellgas has more than 50 locations across Wisconsin, notes President and CEO Steve Wambold. Propane Resources represented Motor Propane Service in the sale.
