Ferrellgas promotes VP of operations support
Overland Park, Kansas-based Ferrellgas has promoted Megan Sharp to vice president of operations support.
In her new position, she will oversee four corporate departments, including fleet, real estate, risk and safety. Sharp has spent the previous 15 years in several leadership roles at the company. Most recently, Sharp was the west region manager at Ferrellgas. She had previously served as the service center general manager in Elk Grove, California, for five years.
Sharp is currently the A1 Deputy Director of Personnel for the Nevada Air National Guard, with more than 20 years of service. She earned a MBA from the University of Nevada-Reno and a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. Additionally, she’s a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force and recently completed a degree from Air Command and Staff College.
Ferrellgas also appointed Ivan Winfield Jr. as chief information officer and Brent Banwart as vice president of human resources. The company recently completed a financial restructuring.
