Ferrellgas names chief information officer

Overland Park, Kansas-based Ferrellgas Partners has appointed Ivan Winfield Jr. as chief information officer (CIO).

Winfield previously spent 11 years at Seaboard Corp., a multinational agribusiness and transportation company, serving as corporate vice president of information technology and corporate officer. He has also held senior roles at H&R Block and Ernst & Young.

Winfield has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s in finance from Washington University in St. Louis. He currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri, with his wife and two daughters.
