Growmark unveils rail-served distribution terminal

Growmark opened a rail distribution terminal at Progressive Rail’s Iowa Traction Railway yard in Mason City, Iowa, commemorating the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

According to a press release, the yard offers access to an interstate and a number of nearby markets.

“Each year we are faced with uncertainty as weather and demand impact supply,” says Doug Dall, propane/energy area manager for AgVantage FS, a retail division of Growmark. “This terminal expands our network of product, and ensures our customers have the supply they need, when they need it.”
