New handheld digging solution from Bergquist

Bergquist Inc. will feature The GeoRipper – a portable, handheld digging solution developed specifically to handle the rigors and stresses of digging through the earth – at the Southeastern & International Propane Expo (booth 533) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Encompassing a new two-stroke engine, GeoRipper is designed to trench safely and efficiently in any dirt. Offering increased productivity and decreased injury over hand-digging, according to Bergquist, GeoRipper features self-sharpening digging teeth for tree roots up to 3 in. below grade and rock removal up to 4 in., while its vortex air filtration system keeps the intake clean. In addition to its two-stroke engine, GeoRipper comes with a 20-in. or 27-in. digging bar with nose bar end assembly and nose sprocket, as well as 20-in.- or 27-in.-wide digging chains (two-pack).
