Otodata appoints sales director for Western Europe

Otodata, a provider of tank monitoring solutions, appointed Guy Lanrezac as sales director for Western Europe. He brings 28 years of experience in telecommunications and IoT technology.

In his new role, Lanrezac will focus on extending Otodata’s leadership to fuel distributors and driving business development opportunities in the region, according to the company.

Prior to joining Otodata, Lanrezac was CEO of SilentSoft, a Swiss tank telemetry provider. He also has extensive experience in the IoT and telecommunications industries where he served as general manager of Motorola Mobile Devices France and head of strategy at Wavecom.

In announcing Lanrezac’s appointment, Otodata says in a company statement: “We look forward to his support as we continue to grow. Please join us in welcoming Guy to the team!”

Otodata, based in Montreal, provides its tank monitors, management software and mobile app to businesses across North America, but with several acquisitions in recent years, it is also establishing a presence around the world. In addition to Montreal and Pittsburgh, where it’s growing its customer service and support team, it has locations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Israel and Poland.

The company is a partner at the LP Gas Growth Summit, taking place Sept. 19-21 in Orlando, Florida.
