PSI appoints interim CFO

April 7, 2022 By

Power Solutions International (PSI) appointed current corporate controller Matthew Thomas as its interim CFO, effective April 8.

Thomas succeeds Donald P. Klein as CFO while the company conducts a search for someone to more permanently fill the position, PSI says.

Thomas has more than 12 years of experience in accounting and finance and most recently served the company as corporate controller since May 2021. In that role, he was responsible for leading the accounting, internal/external reporting and treasury areas. Thomas originally joined the company as director of accounting in March 2018 and served in this capacity until June 2019, when he was named PSI’s assistant controller.

He also worked at Akorn, a publicly traded specialty pharmaceuticals company, and was an audit supervisor with accounting firm Miller Cooper & Co.

“We are grateful for the contributions that Don has made over the past few years and wish him well in his future endeavors,” says Lance Arnett, CEO of PSI. “We would also like to welcome Matt to the interim CFO role.”

PSI works in the alternative fuel engine space and designs, engineers and manufactures emission-certified engines and power systems.
