Ray Murray Inc. adds to technical support team

Ray Murray Inc. (RMI) has added Mike Maley to its technical support team. Maley brings over 20 years of experience in the propane, hearth and HVAC industries to the role.

Maley holds multiple certifications, including CETP, Emergency Response, CSST, HVAC Universal and NORA Bronze/Silver. He is also an Energy Ambassador for the Propane Education & Research Council.

Maley has held roles as a lead LP technician and installer, field response supervisor and most recently as a service/installation manager.

“We are pleased to welcome Mike to the RMI team,” says Mike Hopsicker, president and CEO of RMI. “His extensive experience and comprehensive industry knowledge will be invaluable in delivering the exceptional technical support and training our customers rely on. At RMI, we take pride in providing expert assistance, and we are confident Mike will be a strong contributor to that commitment.”

The company was founded in 1973 by Ray Murray II, who ran operations from his home in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. It celebrated 50 years of business in 2023.

RMI is a wholesale supplier for gas equipment, heating, hearth and outdoor living products. In 2025, RMI also acquired Teeco, now serving customers nationwide.
