Rutherford Equipment names sales rep for Florida

Rutherford Equipment, a wholesale propane equipment and gas appliance distributor in the Southeast, hired Kevin Carnes as a sales representative.

In his new role at the company, Carnes will handle sales efforts promoting equipment to propane companies and gas contractors in Florida. He also will coordinate training programs for customers. Most recently, Carnes worked in sales for the HVAC industry. His background also includes industrial sales experience.

Rutherford Equipment supplies gas equipment and consumer products to the propane and hearth/grill industries. Founded in 1960, the family-owned company has three full-service warehouses offering next-day delivery for customers in the Southeast. The headquarters is in Covington, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, and branch locations include Apopka, Florida, and Goldsboro, North Carolina.
