Suburban Propane purchases Northern New Mexico Gas

New Jersey-based Suburban Propane acquired Northern New Mexico Gas Co., located in Angel Fire, Raton, Cimarron and Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Northern New Mexico Gas started as a butane company in 1942 and now serves residential and commercial customers throughout northern New Mexico.

Legacy Energy Consulting facilitated the sale of Northern New Mexico Gas. The sale is Legacy Energy Consulting’s eighth since the firm was founded in 2020 and its third successful sale in 2022. This year, Legacy Energy Consulting also advised on the sale of Florida-based Hogan Gas and Boye’s Gas Service, as well as Wisconsin-based Strobel Propane Gas.
