Superior Plus appoints CFO

Superior Plus Corp., parent company of Superior Plus Energy Services, hired Beth Summers as its vice president and CFO.

According to a press release, Summers starts her new position Nov. 23. She will replace Wayne Bingham as CFO, as he plans to retire Dec. 31. Bingham plans to assist Summers in the transition until his retirement.

Prior to joining Superior Plus Corp., Summers served as CFO for Ontario Power Generation. The company says she has more than 20 years of experience in financial reporting and capital markets.

Superior Plus consists of three divisions: energy services, specialty chemicals and construction product distribution. Its energy services division includes the distribution of propane distillates, providing fixed-price energy services and supply portfolio management.
