Targa Resources promotes five to executive positions

Targa Resources Corp.’s board of directors made five executive promotions.

The company promoted Matthew J. Meloy to president, Patrick J. McDonie to president – gathering and processing, D. Scott Pryor to president – logistics and marketing, Robert M. Muraro to chief commercial officer, and Jennifer R. Kneale to CFO. The appointments will be effective in early March.

“Targa is blessed with very strong management throughout the organization, supporting all of our businesses and functions,” says Joe Bob Perkins, CEO of Targa Resources. “These executive promotions will help ensure that Targa’s best-in-class employees, premier midstream assets and unique teamwork are supported by the continuity of strong leadership.”

Meloy, who was promoted to president, joined the company in March 2006. He previously served as the company’s CFO since December 2010.

McDonie, the newly promoted president – gathering and processing, joined the company in 2015 through the acquisition of Atlas Pipeline Partners L.P. and Atlas Energy L.P., serving as executive vice president – southern field gathering and processing since November 2015.

Pryor, who was promoted to president – logistics and marketing, joined the company in 2005 after the acquisition of Dynegy Midstream Services LP, serving as executive vice president – logistics and marketing since November 2015.

Muraro joined Targa in August 2004 as a director of business development. Prior to being promoted to chief commercial officer, Muraro most recently severed as executive vice president – commercial.

Kneale joined Targa in May 2013 and served as vice president – finance. In this position, she managed corporate development, investor relations and other finance functions. Kneale will now take over as CFO.

The company says the promotions recognize the significant leadership capability within the company and the increasing leadership roles that these individuals have taken on as part of the company’s ongoing executive succession process.
