Westmor expands production facility for Southwest

February 22, 2016 By

Westmor Industries expanded a small shop in Shawnee, Kan., by more than 17,000 square feet, adding two production lines to increase efficiencies for new products and repair jobs. The finished production facility now spans more than 25,000 square feet.

According to Westmor, the new facility is capable of manufacturing and servicing the company’s products for the entire Southwest. Westmor partnered with Straub Construction on the project, breaking ground in December 2014 and completing the facility in August 2015. The facility sits on 8 acres and is set up for future expansion, the company adds.

Now, in addition to having a facility that can produce propane bobtails, refined fuel trucks and a number of other products, Westmor can offer faster response times on service work, the company says.
