Women in Propane Council appoints 2025 executive board

The Women in Propane Council (WIP), established in 2012 as a business council of the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA), named its 2025 leadership team.

The newly appointed positions of the board include:

  • Whitney O’Toole, telemetry manager for AmeriGas, as chair.
  • Mandy Swanson, district manager for AmeriGas, as vice chair.
  • Megan Sharp, vice president of operations support for Ferrellgas, as treasurer.
  • Tonya Crow, director of FS sales and marketing at Growmark, as association officer.
  • Paula Summers, founder of Summers Engineered Capital, as immediate past chair.
  • Nancy Coop, director of marketing at Cetane Associates, as founding chair and advisory board chair.

O’Toole has been in her current role at AmeriGas for over two years. She previously worked at A.R.M. Solutions as a key account manager and at Ferrellgas as an operations/logistics manager. She also has served as vice chair of the WIP Council for 2024.

The WIP Council also named its 2025 committee chairs, including:

  • Marci Gagnon (Qualpay): co-chair, events
  • Jessica Sheehan-Balderston (Rural Computer Consultants): co-chair, events
  • Jessica Johnson (NPGA): podcast E.P., podcast
  • Chelsea Uphaus (Roush CleanTech): co-chair, communications and marketing
  • Alex Young (Worthington Enterprises): co-chair, communications and marketing
  • Lauren Clark (Bergquist): co-chair, Knowledge Exchange
  • Jacqueline Piazza (New Jersey Propane Gas Association): co-chair, Knowledge Exchange
  • Brian Klinger (Klinger Paint): co-chair, sponsorship
  • Cheryl Lytle (Wisconsin Propane Gas Association): co-chair, sponsorship
  • Joyce Donnell (Superior Plus Propane): chair, state ambassadors (association engagement)
  • Jennifer Jackson (AmeriGas): co-chair, DiSC training
  • Michelle Wilson (Boston Environmental): chair, membership

WIP gathers industry professionals, both women and men, from employees of family-owned, regional and multistate firms, including business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate officers, staff members and managers at all levels within company operations.
