What’s up, and what’s new?

Independence Propane was only 5 years old when LP Gas recognized Delehanty’s leadership qualities in 2017, though the young leader, who owned the small company even then, had already been in the industry for 20 years.

Since 2017, Delehanty has become more involved in industry associations, including the National Propane Gas Association’s Benchmarking Council, and has continued his work to grow the Philadelphia-area business. In the process, he says, Independence Propane has focused on career development for its employees.

Delehanty says he uses his leadership skills to connect with his employees, treating them like family and helping them excel at their jobs.
