F.W. Webb Co. has opened new wholesale store and warehouse facilities in Central Islip, New York, and Whippany, New Jersey, as part of its ongoing expansion across the Northeast.

The new Central Islip facility, located at 31 Windsor Place, includes 143,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and retail space and stocks more than 20,000 products for plumbing, heating, HVACR and industrial professionals. The Whippany location, at 48 South Jefferson Road, spans 27,000 sq. ft. and replaces the company’s former Madison, New Jersey, branch.

Both locations are designed to support contractors, technicians, facility managers and other trade professionals with expanded inventory and will-call ordering by phone, text message or the F.W. Webb mobile app.

“We anticipate this new location will be a game changer for our team on Long Island and for our company as a whole,” says COO Bob Mucciarone of the Central Islip opening. “Not only will we provide a wide range of products from industry-leading manufacturers in Central Islip, but we will also expand and refine our fire fabrication capabilities in nearby West Babylon.”

Regarding the Whippany facility, Mucciarone says, the company selected the site to improve service for contractors in the region and support its continued investment in the New York metropolitan area.

The Central Islip branch offers plumbing, heating, HVACR and industrial products, including rooftop units, condensers and furnaces. The location also provides free local delivery, emergency service support and training on equipment such as wall-hung boilers and high-efficiency HVAC systems.

“This convenient location is built for busy trade professionals, who can order from the jobsite or office, pick up quickly and return to work,” says Scott Brown, general manager of the Central Islip facility.

The Whippany facility features a self-service warehouse layout with piping materials, condenser units, fittings, valves, tools and maintenance supplies. The location provides access to Routes 80, 287 and 10, allowing contractors to reach jobsites more efficiently.

“At F.W. Webb, giving our customers the highest level of service is our priority, and this new facility allows us to truly address their needs with an extensive product selection and easy-to-browse design,” says Peter Sramowicz, general manager of the Whippany operation.

The Central Islip opening also shifts portions of the company’s West Babylon operation. Employees from that branch have relocated to the new facility, while the West Babylon location will continue operating its trade counter during renovations to expand fire sprinkler fabrication capabilities.

Similarly, employees from the former Madison branch transferred to the new Whippany location. F.W. Webb says it is hiring for additional sales, warehouse and inventory positions at both facilities.

The company says it plans to continue investing in its regional network. Upcoming projects include renovations to its Centereach, New York, location; the opening of a Frank Webb Home bath, kitchen and lighting showroom in Whippany; and the development of a second central distribution center in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. F.W. Webb has also recently opened locations in Somerdale, New Jersey, and Middlebury, Vermont.
