Alliance Energy Services acquires propane terminal in Maine
In a move that strengthens its position in the delivery of propane to New England, Alliance Energy Services says it has completed the acquisition of the Biddeford, Maine, rail and truck propane terminal from CHS Inc.
This strategic investment marks a significant milestone for Alliance Energy Services and underscores its commitment to provide safe, efficient and reliable energy solutions to customers in the Northeast, according to the company.
The terminal includes 180,000 gallons of aboveground storage, eight rail-car offloading spots, two truck-loading bays and an additional four rail-car storage spots. The acquisition also aligns with the company’s long-term vision of expanding its infrastructure within its marketing area.
“We are thrilled to announce the successful acquisition of the Biddeford terminal,” says Jason Doyle, president of Alliance Energy Services. “This strategic move enhances our supply offering to customers in the New England market. It also represents our commitment to being a leader in the wholesale propane industry.”
Alliance Energy Services, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, is a natural gas liquids (NGLs) marketing, price risk management and transportation solutions provider serving North America for almost 20 years. Using a system of rail cars, trucks and pipelines to move NGLs, the company partners with producers, suppliers and customers.
