Dual-fuel system compatible with diesel, gasoline

LP Energy Systems introduced a dual-fuel propane system for diesel and gasoline engines. According to LP Energy, the system injects propane vapor into the fuel mixture. The company says the system improves fuel efficiency and reduces emissions.

In addition, LP Energy President William Farrell says the idle circuit designed with the system provides a quieter idle and lower emissions at idle. The system’s installation requires no permanent modifications to the vehicle or engine. No connection to the engine computer is required, either, according to the company.
