Icom receives EPA certification for several vehicles

Icom North America LLC received Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification for its propane autogas fleet offerings on 2013-16 Ford police vehicles with the 3.7-liter V6 engine. These vehicles include Ford’s police sport utility, police sedan, Explorer, Taurus, Edge, Flex and Lincoln’s MKT, MKS and MKX.

Most of the vehicles in this platform serve the police, government and livery industries. Ed Zoglman, vice president of Icom’s central division, says Icom is the first company to receive EPA certification for these propane vehicle platforms.

Icom says it also plans to announce additional EPA certifications soon.
