Attendees of The Work Truck Show, taking place March 14-17 in Indianapolis, will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of propane autogas during a Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) presentation.

Tucker Perkins, PERC’s COO, plans to speak about autogas’ financial and environmental benefits. His “Propane Autogas – A Viable Economic Solution for Emissions Reduction” presentation will take place from 9:30-10:45 a.m. March 15 during the show’s Green Truck Summit.

“There’s a lot of excitement leading up to the show this year as sales of propane autogas light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles increased by nearly 8 percent in 2016 compared with 2015 end-of-year figures,” Perkins says. “This means that at the start of 2017, nearly 200,000 propane autogas vehicles are supporting fleets across the United States in clean, cost-effective transportation.”

In addition to the presentation, PERC will display autogas vehicles and equipment in booth 5591. The council will showcase a Ford F-750 from Roush CleanTech, a GM crew cab from Power Solutions International (PSI), a standalone PSI 6.0-liter engine and a Superior Energy Systems fuel dispenser.
