Each month, LP Gas provides updates on the U.S. propane market, as well as the latest trends. The data for May 2021 focuses on U.S. forklift truck factory shipments. This month’s data comes from the Industrial Truck Association.

PROPANE MARKET METRICS

Data shows shipments in the U.S. for electric rider trucks (Class 1 and Class 2 combined), motorized hand trucks (Class 3) and internal combustion powered trucks (Class 4 and Class 5 combined). Propane makes up about 90 percent of the forklifts in Class 4-5. Click to enlarge chart.
