ADD Systems promotes customer support manager
Advanced Digital Data (ADD) Systems, a supplier of software solutions to the energy distribution industries, promoted Steve Tymikiw to the role of customer support manager.
Tymikiw has been with ADD Systems for more than 23 years and has expertise in software and working directly with ADD clients, the company says.
“We are excited Steve has accepted this position, and grateful that he had a chance to work with his predecessor, Linda Carrer, to ensure a smooth transition,” says Andy Katsigiannis, director of IT and customer support for ADD Systems. “Steve brings strong leadership skills, organizational expertise and product proficiency with him, and we look forward to his contributions in this new role.”
Prior to his new role, Tymikiw worked as an application and integration manager in ADD’s implementation and training department. There he worked closely with clients, managing high-priority projects. Prior to that, he worked as an accountant with two energy marketers, ADD Systems says.
“I’m really excited to take on this new role, and I’m grateful to have had the chance to learn from Linda,” Tymikiw says. “The customer support group is a fantastic group of people, and I look forward to helping make our support performance even better.”
Former customer support manager retires
Linda Carrer, customer support manager at ADD Systems, retired after 30 years with the company.
According to ADD Systems, Carrer instilled in her support team the importance of being good listeners, always seeking to understand client needs to give the best support possible, and strongly believed that relationships were at the heart of her role.
“The customer support team has thrived under Linda’s leadership. She’s taken the group to the next level with a superior commitment to getting the job done right,” says Rob Culbertson, senior vice president and COO at ADD Systems. “She will be missed, but her contributions will be felt for years to come.”
