Algas-SDI reorganizes business, promotes employees
Algas-SDI restructured its operations, launching two distinct business groups, and promoted two key employees.
Randy Ervin, Algas-SDI president, says customer experience is a key reason for the company’s reorganization and implementation of the LP-Gas Products group and the Gas Systems group.
Algas-SDI also promoted Todd Meadows and Mike Zimmer to serve as directors of the new business groups.
Meadows joined the company in 2013 as director of operations. In his new position as director of the LP-Gas Products group, he will be responsible for all standard products and related parts sold through distribution. Kirsten Bellar will be the director of sales for the LP-Gas Products group.
Zimmer joined Algas-SDI 21 years ago, and he most recently worked as director of technology. In his new position as director of the Gas Systems group, he will be responsible for development, planning, design, procurement and fulfillment of different areas of the business.
Additionally, the company hired John Searle as director of strategic business development. Searle will be responsible for overseeing the development of growth initiatives and market strategies.
Algas-SDI designs and manufactures products and systems for the propane and natural gas industries, including a variety of vaporizers.
