The annual AEGPL Congress, which took place in June in Lisbon, Portugal, featured 1,200 attendees from the propane industry, according to AEGPL.

The event, hosted by the European LP Gas Association, is the biggest of its kind in Europe. The Congress was divided into an exhibition area with 130 booths and a conference area where discussion panels were held.

The booths showcased new products and services offered by companies in the propane industry. According to AEGPL, exhibitors had the opportunity to network with industry members, as well as to view advanced solutions presented by companies within the industry.

The conference featured 31 speakers, a third of which were women. According to the organization, this was done in an effort to promote gender equality within the industry. The panels focused on challenges and opportunities for the industry. Topics discussed included the role of renewables, new areas for LP gas, the impact of public policy on the industry and the role of LP gas in communities, according to AEGPL.
