Arcosa Tank becomes Triarc Tank
The storage tank business of Arcosa Inc., previously marketed under the Arcosa Tank brand, now operates as Triarc Tank following its divestiture to Black Diamond Capital Management.
The new identity is a nod to the business’s predecessors, Arcosa and Trinity Industries.
Trinity Industries was founded in 1933 as Trinity Steel. The Dallas-based company’s first products were propane and butane tanks.
By 2018, Trinity moved to focus on its core business, rail car manufacturing and leasing. In November 2018, the non-rail businesses of Trinity Industries separated to form a new company, Arcosa Inc. The legacy propane tank business, Trinity Containers, went with the new company and became Arcosa Tank.
As Arcosa Inc. developed its identity during the intervening four years, it devised a new corporate strategy and decided to sell the tank business, now Triarc Tank, to Black Diamond Capital Management.
Triarc Tank manufactures steel pressure tanks for the storage and transportation of propane, ammonia and other gases serving the residential, commercial, energy and agriculture markets.
