Back check feature available on valve line

Marshall Excelsior introduces its integrated back check feature, now available on the company’s full line of 2-inch full port globe and angle valves. For use in LP gas truck, transport and plant applications, the full-port design allows up to 70 percent more flow than competitive models, according to the company. The integrated back check feature allows the valve to be installed in sections of plumbing that could trap liquid product and require a hydrostatic relief valve. The back check feature allows the trapped product to bypass through the valve seat to the upstream side of the valve and back into the storage container. This creates a closed loop system and prevents the product from being expelled into the atmosphere through a hydrostatic relief valve. This new valve line offers stainless steel components with durable ductile iron castings and convenient ¼-inch NPT accessory ports on both the upstream and downstream sides. The valves are listed by Underwriters Laboratories for LP gas with working pressures up to 400 psi. For more information, visit www.marshallexcelsior.com.
