Bergquist appoints new area sales manager

Bergquist Inc. promoted Jerry Belknap to serve as its area sales manager for Michigan, northwest Ohio and southern Ontario.

In the new position, Belknap will be responsible for sales, customer service and product training to existing and potential propane marketer accounts.

Belknap has worked in the propane industry for almost 20 years, including seven years managing retail propane locations in Michigan. He most recently served as an inside sales representative at Bergquist for the past three years. In that position, he was responsible for telephone sales with an emphasis on customer service. He has also served as Bergquist’s Sumter Coatings product specialist.
