Blossman Gas mourns programs director, friend

David Finder was an important part of many projects and product developments in his 14 years at Blossman Gas. He pioneered programs for generators, propane mowers and other applications. He also was an integral member of Alliance AutoGas since it began in 2010, building and maintaining many relationships over the years.

But Blossman Gas has been mourning Finder and remembering all of his contributions to the company since his death in April – about seven months after his retirement.

Stuart Weidie, CEO of Blossman Gas and president of Alliance AutoGas, wrote in Finder’s retirement announcement that Alliance AutoGas was fortunate to have had someone like Finder, recognizing his commitment to serving others and his ability to develop personal relationships.

Others spoke highly of his ability to connect with people, his willingness to answer questions and his genuine personality. Many of his coworkers considered him not only as a friend, but as family, according to his retirement announcement.

Doug Maclay, owner of Huffhines Propane Gas and Henderson Oil and Propane, wrote in the announcement that Finder was a friend in the business, that he was “always in a good mood, focused on waving the Blossman flag, building the Blossman business and acting as the consummate ambassador.”
