Cargas Energy creates point-of-sale application

A new point-of-sale (POS) mobile application by Cargas Energy simplifies and streamlines the checkout process for propane transactions like cylinder sales and propane by the gallon, helping propane retailers complete storefront transactions faster and creating a better experience for customers and employees, says the company. The POS app is fully integrated with Cargas Energy’s customer accounts, so propane retailers can use it to settle customer account balances in-store or add store purchases to a customer’s account balance. POS transactions automatically adjust inventory levels so it’s easy to keep track of stock. Other features include customer and item lookup, cash register and receipt printer pairing, multiple payment options, returns processing, security measures like automatic log-off, and register closing reports. The app is available for Android and Windows operating systems.
