Cavagna Group acquires Linde Group subsidiary

The Cavagna Group completed the acquisition of Afrox’s Gas Equipment Factory, part of the South African subsidiary of the Linde Group.

Through this acquisition, Cavagna can manufacture a product line of integrated valves and regulators for the control of industrial and medical gases. According to Cavagna, the assets of this acquisition were transferred from South Africa and installed earlier this year in two of Cavagna’s Italian plants.

The company adds that this transaction helps to strengthen Cavagna Group’s leadership in advanced solutions for the control of industrial and medical gases.

“This transaction speeds up the growth process of Cavagna Group,” says Ezio Cavagna, president of the Cavagna Group. “In fact, we can aim for a further consolidation of our high pressure division. From now on, this division can count on a new product line that will enable it to expand its product range and strengthen its leadership position in the market of advanced solutions for gas control.”
