CB&I to build propane terminal for Sunoco

Sunoco Partners Marketing & Terminals LP has awarded a $270 million contract to CB&I for the construction of a turnkey propane terminal and de-ethanizer facility in Marcus Hook, Pa., CB&I announced. CB&I, a company focused on energy infrastructure, says it is currently constructing the ethane storage tank terminal for Sunoco at the site. Marcus Hook has become a key destination for natural gas liquids emanating from the Marcellus and Utica shale plays in the region. New infrastructure will help boost Marcus Hook’s capability to provide propane and ethane to local, regional and international markets.
